Oil Shale

According to ECOSHALE’s website one of the companies currently in development of oil shale; “The Great Basin of the western United States holds some of the world’s richest deposits of oil shale. The states of Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah together represent more than a third of the earths supply.”

Red Leaf Resources, Inc which is the parent company of ECOSHALE owns School Institutional Trust Lands leases in Utah containing approximately 1.5 billion barrels of oil. They predict that their mining operation will be able to produce up to 50,000 barrels per day. This is more oil than all of Utah’s other conventional output combined.
